Background

A Major Life Insurance company decided to transition from a traditional waterfall development environment to Agile Scrum methods.  The Agile transformation was part of a business model change that affected the entire Life Insurance organization.

Problem 

The Client was having trouble finding an experienced Agile Coach/Trainer with technical project management experience who could guide a skeptical business and IT organization in their first Agile project. The Client evaluated many certified Agile Coaches and Trainers, but none had the senior management level communication skills and necessary practical experience to lead such a large Agile transformation.

Solution 

The Client asked SynergisticIT to assist with this need.  In a few days, SynergisticIT provided a certified Agile Trainer/Coach with many years of large transformation experience that possessed a technical background and had the necessary management skills to work with senior managers in IT and the business.

Agile adoption was one of the reasons the company was able to move forward in record time with a completely new sales paradigm resulting in a 10% increase in sales.  Our Client gave us high marks for the services provided and we were rewarded with a new contract to introduce Agile to other business units using the recently successful transformation as the model.
